Auburn Brides

Hi Ladies,

Any Auburn brides on the board?

I'm trying to get a feel for the weather in Auburn in June. I've heard so many conflicting reports. We're getting married in June (mid June) of 2010. Both our ceremony and reception are outdoor, so it's very dependant on the weather. I'm not worried about the heat, but worried it will cool down at night. Our ceremony will start around 4:30 and reception will end around 10:00pm. Can any of you shed some light on the weather this time of year??

Thank you!

Try www.wunderground.com for some good historical data about the weather trends. I think you can search by city, possibly by zip code. I've used it for our planning stuff.

Auburn, CA?  I live not too far and am getting married in Lincoln.  It is relatively similar to here, but a little cooler.  I would say in June it gets down to mid 60's at night, not too bad actually :).

Thanks ladies. Guess I should've specified, Auburn CA :)

Our venue does have heat lamps. I'd just hate for it to be cold enough to use them, but I guess that's better than it being scorching hot. It's hard planning an all outdoor wedding in an area you're not too familiar with! I've been scowering all the weather reports which helps a little bit but still hard to get an idea for the evening weather.

I live in Auburn.  You'll be fine.......We actually get some pretty hot days.  Don't even stress about it.  No worries at all.

You should be fine without renting a heat lamp. Most guests will probably bring a light sweater/cardigan for weather that gets a little nippy.
