August update, September goals.

My wins for August:


 


Okay, this is the first month since last year that I *haven't gained weight.* WOOT!!!! Okay, so I didn't lose any either, scale says one pound but I don't count it until it's like 5 lbs and it stays off (this way I know it's not just water weight.)


I've been drinking all my water like I should and I bought a jump-rope! I've jumped 2 days this week but only for about 10 minutes because it's HARD and I felt like I would die if I didn't stop. LOL.


I started working part-time at a grocery store about 12 hrs a week for some play money (they pay you like $22/hr to stock groceries here, CRAYZAY!!) and all that lifting and squatting and going up and down ladders has left me feeling sore after every shift. Any soreness is always a win for me!


 


I haven't taken my measurements because my jeans don't feel loser yet and I don't want to be disappointed. I'm not weighing myself for 2 weeks because I think this every-day thing is torture.


 


And that's my update. :)


Goals for September:



  • Drink 3 litres of water every day

  • Eat less cheese. (don't laugh.)

  • Drink less alcohol.

  • Lose 5 lbs.

Wins for August:



  • lost 3 lbs

  • broke thru a plateau-- was stuck for a while

  • I am able to fit into pants that I haven't worn in atleast a year.

  • Lost 10 lbs total since June.


Goals for Sept:



  • Lose 5 lbs (We can do it princessbride!!)

  • Stay on plan during my school semester. This is going to be really tough with working full time and nursing class on nights and weekends, but i gotta do it!


Good luck to everyone losing over this next month! We can do it!!

  • keep making healthy meal choices

Wins for August:



  • Didnt Gain

  • Hit a total of 21 for the month

  • Lost Two pounds


Goals for Sept:

  • Lose 8 to 10 lbs

  • Work out more

  • eat more fruits and veggies

  • drink more water

* Ate a lot more veggies


* Ate more than 5 times a day


* walked up stairs a lot


* lost a couple pounds.. I had gotten up to 148 and now I am consistently weighing in at 145 all times of the day!  That's 3 pounds.  It's just because I'm being conscious of eating more regularly and trying not to drink soda since it makes me sick anyway.


 


Goals: 


* Eat planned out food everyday..


* always carry foods to snack on.


* Get a variety of fruits and veggies in my diet (not just the usual apple, orange, and carrots every day)


*  Work out at least a couple days a week... mainly arm toning.


* remain conscious of posture for back health.


*yoga yoga... everyday.

Great thread!


In August I was down a pants size and broke the 20lb. mark lost.  


In September I'd like to be at 25lbs lost (currently at 24lbs lost so should be doable) and I would also like to go down one more pants size though I suspect that'll be an October milestone.

Wins for August:


Didn't gain any post-wedding weight!


Found out I was a whole size smaller than I thought I was clothing-wise when I went to replace my (now very baggy) wardrobe


Goals for September:


Get SOLID into the 120's.  I've been in the 130's for a while and I'm sick of it.  I'm SO freaking close to the 20's and I can feel it, but just can't seem to get over the edge.  I remember feeling this way about dropping into the 140's and the 130's. . .oh the anticipation!

YAY MB!! That's so exciting about being a size smaller! I've been there with you on the edge before, but for me it's like I can always get down to 160, 161 but pushing into the 150s is SO HARD. Right now I'm just trying to get out of the 200s. LOL
