AW! Finally found a ceremony altar!

My antiquing endeavors yesterday were successful...I found a beautiful lace panel and a little table. I added a pitcher that I already had and voila! A makeshift altar for our outdoor ceremony:) We're using the pitcher for the flower ceremony. We will gather a single stem from our parents and grandparents, and bind them into a bouquet symbolizing our unity, and the roles our family members have played in shaping our lives.

So what do you think? Anything I could do to make it better?

Beautiful tablecloth and pitcher!  I think it's perfect as is, but if you're reaaaally wanting to add anything else, maybe some flowers or flower petals around the pitcher?  But honestly, I think it's pretty without anything else.  :)

Wow! What an awesome find! It looks beautiful just like that, but I do agree with Santosha, some flower petals never hurt anything!

Another thought is you could stencil, or use vinyl stickies, or some other method to put a monogram or your wedding date on the vase. But I do think it looks great just like that so it's a tough call, because adding to it might take away from the beauty of it as is!

Thanks, girls! I don't want to add a stencil or anything to the pitcher since it's an antique that's part of our decor, but some flowers at the base of the pitcher are a great idea! I was also thinking of maybe adding a burlap bunting or a little sign that says "We Do" or something like that?
