baby gates

Does anyone have pictures of their baby gates . . . what kind did you get, where did you buy them, and how much did you spend?

I don't have any pictures but we got two - they are white metal, extra tall with a door. They stay in the wall with pressure. We spent around $150 for both, we got them for our dogs lol they had free run of our back room but are now in a crate. We plan on using them again once the baby is active (crawling etc.)

Oh we bought them at Lowes of all places.

we have this one, but not the extra tall version, so ours only cost about $50. We have it at the bottom of the stairs:

DH got it, so I'm not entirely sure where it was purchased from

I put 2 of these on our registry. They are from BRU (Dream Baby Swing Closed Security Gate with 2 Extensions-Black) and are $54.99 a piece:

I put 2 of photo 3304789-1These are the regular sized ones, not the extra tall (even though my hubby is 6'5. The extra tall just seemed soo tall and DH said it would be fine to get the regular sized ones.) They come in white too.

We have the ones that April posted, we only got the extra tall because they were for the dogs (Murphy is 65 pounds).  But I'm glad we did cause we have them now!

Sunny those are nice!

Please get the ones with the hinges - we have the ones that aren't and they are a PAIN!!!  if they are going to stay in place and don't have a lot of traffic, then the stationary ones are great.  I recommend getting the swing ones though.

We are going to get the play "pens"...they're basically baby gates that are connected to make a small and safe play area, and most can be expanded to make a bigger play area and/or disconnected to make 1 baby gate for a doorway. I know "Summer" makes them and babies r us carries several brands of them.
