Booked an Amazing Caterer
After visiting our venue I went to speak with a French Chef about our wedding. I was skeptical because after all he's French and I expected some stuff that I couldnt even pronounce and menu options I could even relate to. He was a little difficult to understand but I have no doubt he is going to be amazing. He answered my questions before I even asked. He made sure I knew there will be plenty of food and we will not run out of anything. He is only charging me $16 pp. We will have a carving station with Roast Beef and Turkey Roast and then a chicken breast that he specializes in on the buffet, mashed potatoes, salad, rolls, and sauteed vegetables. Tea, coffee and water.
He did suggest that we might serve a couple simple appetizers as everyone gets a drink and finds their seats while we are finishing our receiving line after the ceremony. This would only add $2 pp to our price making it $18 pp. We had budgeted for as much as $30 pp so this made me extremely happy. This made up for some of the shock of the venue price.
