Bridal Accessory Advice?!

So my day of jewelry is inspired by my wedding band which is an art deco, saphire and diamond eternity band from the 1920's handed down in my family.

At first mom thought i should buy jewelry that is subtle, beautiful, delicate and able to use in every day wear. So we originally purchased this necklace, and intended on swapping the center diamond for a saphire. (i'm borrowing earrings from my godmother.)

but then mom started looking through my wedding magazines and felt i needed some more statement-esq jewelry and so we went shopping again. I ended up with the following two pieces:

And while i like both pieces, i think we went with modest again, and im in the same spot of "it's not statement piece enough"!? What do you ladies think? i mean its not like i wont enjoy the jewelry (what girl doesnt like jewelry?) but i feel like its kind of wasteful money wise to just be blindly buying. i feel like even if i couldnt wear the bracelet i really liked as often i should have bought it instead.... someone tell me im not completly crazy or tell me that it wont be a bad thing in the end to buy some pretty but hopefully costume jewelry thats really blingy and statement like? were hopefully going shopping this saturday for veils, maybe shoes and sash/belt and i know their will be shineys to look at... so who knows. i just wanted input from the lovely ladies of PW! Thanks in advance

Those are beautiful! If you want statement jewelry...I think you need something a little more "statement" like you mentioned. If you want more subtle, I think those are gorgeous (reminds me of the heart of the ocean a little!) But you also don't want to be wasting money, totally understandable! Honestly sometimes the coolest jewelry you can randomly find at Forever 21 or some other place like that. My cousin made my jewelry, which was awesome and sweet, but I didn't get a real chance to go look at different jewelry, so search around! Enjoy that. And keep receipts :P

I think your jewelry are beautiful. But you have to see them with your dress to see if they give you the  look you want. The necklace I wore was like less than 30 bucks but it was perfect for the look! At first I had somethink differend in mind but when I saw it at the fitting I changed my mind. Statement jewelry don't have to be expencive, just take your time and look around

Zeuster, thank you so much! i like it too... guess i should try the jewelry on then. (i dont have the first necklace home yet... its still on layaway. lol)

I love the first one! The second one might be a little too much but it is equally beautiful!! But yes. I do think those when I think statement jewelry. :) and yes with a saphire/blue stone just to tie in all the other jewelry. :P
