Bride straps baby to her dress?

Has anyone else seen this story?

Now I'm not judging, but there does seem to be *ahem* better ways of including your children in the wedding...

So - what do you think of this custom in particular, or any other non-conventional wedding-day traditions?

Have you been to any weddings with unusual customs, or maybe incorporated some yourself that got people talking? Tell us about it!

That's hilarious, but it don't think it's very nice!!

If they really wanted the baby with them why couldn't the groom hold her? (That's what my brother did) Or maybe get a pretty carriage for a flower girl to push down the aisle?

It really just looks like someone put the baby down and the bride didn't notice!! Lol

I had seen pictures of this all over the place, but didn't click on the story until now, so I didn't realize the baby was only one month old! That's so dangerous it's horrifying!

And although we usually like to avoid use of the "t word" (tacky) on PW, I'm not sure there are any other words that really apply here.  ;-)

Well my opionion isn't going to earn any popularity votes in any way because I'm about to lay-it-out!

While I understand there are specific traditions and such I can't see any sensbile person wanting to drag their newborn baby behind them strapped to a dress.  Why not just carry the child?

I agree with Sam, there are better ways to incorporate your child in your wedding!
