Is she a pro, or just someone wanting to help you out?  I'm no florist, and I've done 2 wedding flowers so far, with the help of Costco...you can get 2 dozen flowers for only $14.99, and bouquets are SUPER easy to make!  It sounds like a great deal, but to save even more money, I would get some of your BM together, and throw a practice run to see if you can do it yourselves.

$350 doesn't sound bad for what you're getting. I'm spending $530 for:

1 - bride bouquet
1 - throw away bouquet
3 - bm bouquets
1 - groom bout
3 - GM bout
1 - Father bout
2 - Mom and GMIL corsages
2 - rows of rose petals down the aisle
2 - pilars w/2 flower baskets for the alter

So if you trust her, I say go for it, just make sure you show her a lot of pictures of what you want / like.

UGH! I jus texted FI about the cost and he asked me if the flowers were magic flowers! LOL ! What a dork. I should tell him about the prices u all are paying maybe he'll do it. Most likely we'll jus go to Safeway or Costco. I'll have to do some research ... I only have 6 weeks left AHH!

What kind of flowers are you using. This should let you know if your getting a good deal. Most bridal bouquets from a florist are $125 to $250 alone. I like the costco idea. For $350 and help from a BM you could get bulk wholesale prices on one or two styles of flowers an have enough left over for centerpieces. I think florists have a lot of overhead with their shop, and the electricity to run all those big expensive frig's and to pay the employees...

If you have the frigde space and get the wholesale flowers and DIY you will have more than you dreamed. Go to organic bouquet www.organicbouquet.com and pick two flowers you like for everything and I can give you a quote to how much they will be wholesale. Then have a friend who has a wholesale number get an account with them and get your flowers. They even let me have my clients pay them direct with their own credit cards and my wholesale prices... I then just charge my couples my pay for setting them up, hence its wholesale..

GL  your honey sounds cute to think $350 is a lot....

So, to DIY it can be extremely easy, if you  are simple. Just get some floral tape and tape two stems together and then add one or two more stems and tape until the bouquet has the number of flowers you like. wrap 1 1/2 satin ribbon in the color you like around and put 10 boutonniere pins in a row down the side, careful not to let the pin poke through... Voila!!! your bouquets...

IMO, $350 is a good deal but it also depends on the type of flowers she's going to use.   I paid $590 for all my flower arrangements.

1 Bridal bouquet - Roses and Stephanotis

4 BMs bouquet - Roses, carnations and white orchids

 1 toss bouquet - Roses

1 arrangement for church offering - Roses and other white flowers.

 4 bouts - orchids

7 centerpieces - roses, carnations, gerber daisies and other flowers

2 bathroom baskets - roses, carnations, gerber daisies and other flowers

Roses petals for the cake and sign in take

Good luck!!!
