Let's build an Alice in Wonderland themed wedding!
Starting with the bride's dress...
Alice in Wonderland Cake!
Alice in Wonderland Favors!
Is this really a theme someone is interested in, or is it solely a creative exercise? So many ideas! But I want to know if it's real help or "play" before I get too carried away!
It's play!! Go wild Tyler xx
Seating chart (name cards with the keys!)
What a cute flower girl!
I want to see some starry, "once upon a time" type of lighting and starry type of effect to give it that otherworldy kind of a feel. http://www.goboprojectorrental.com/blisslight-rental/
Invites, Itinerary, etc.
Well, my imagination has no exact pictures that go along with it. But ...
1. Guys in white tuxes with white top hats, embelished a la Mad Hatter. Or guys in white suits with white back-plates attached, each having a large card suit on it. Or each in a different, bright color of suit with an ostentatiously loud pocket watch attached. Or one of each of the above!
2. Build a faux wall with a small, warped door built into it, brightly colored, through which guests must stoop to enter the main room. Decorations for the faux wall could be almost anything!
3. Have the flower girl or ring bearer carry a large, white rabbit down the aisle.
4. Girls with heart-shaped, bright red lipstick on. Maybe make-up and hair a la "The Hunger Games" (they do have a whole line now).
The possibilites really are endless!
I love the door idea!!!! That would be so cute, an a great backdrop for piccies
Yes, Canooknic ... couples CROUCHED by the door, or tangled in an embrace on the floor in front of it, or crawling through it toward the camera. I see so many great "keepers" with that idea.
Just for fun, I made this "Alice-themed" travel tag / place card holder (while my "main gig" is a teen mentor, I do have graphic design skills):
Cool! Put that on ETSY!
I don't know how many people will be wanting an Alice-themed wedding! :P (But thanks...)
I just like to create.
Put anything on Etsy..I'm still getting my stuff together to sell on there...you would be surprised what brides will buy lol.
The mansion on O street as a venue! It's Alice in wonderland meets Harry potter! Can't wait to see it in person in a few weeks!!
