Centerpiece help

I need your opinions! We're doing a patriotic theme for our wedding. We've decided not to use flowers. The larger bowl pictured here will be surrounded with red votives and sitting on a round mirror.

Should I do

A) bowl with the 3 candles, (see link)

B) bowl with just the white, (see link)

c) or the 3rd option we've talked about it filling the bowl with water and the crystals and floating red gerber dasies on top.

Thanks ladies!!

I love the patriotic theme! Go America there really is no other country I would want to live in. I think the third one. Second choice would be the B because it seems like too much to have the colored crystals and then add colored candles.

I like B, still bold but less busy.  I would also do a shorter candle probably, so it doesn't go past the vase?   Another spin off of this is to do 3" floating candles which would be nice...?

My second choice would be C

Lastly, you could always to alternating ceterpieces- ???? So you could do both A & B if you really liked both???

- HMM :)

I like B and C...but I agree with HMM on going with a smaller pillar candle or even the floating candles.

B it is!

Thanks everyone. HMM I already went out and bought shorter candles. You're right they look better shorter. I'm also going to put water in, it makes the crystals look neater!

D1rty, I lost all the candles, the first round of marbles and the head table pieces. Luckily the bowls were in the basement. Only had to replace candles and marbles.

and champ... I'm totally all over the sales today! The stars I tied around the bowls cost $1.45 for 9 ft!

I LOVE B! I would totally go with that. I love the patriotic theme. Yours is just enough red, white and blue too. I love the stars :)

I am late, but I am with everybody else... Option B with shorter candles...

Also, I just saw this email I got from Martha Stewart and thought of you.  These would be fun as a favor or with all your guests waving as you are walking down the aisle or just as additional decor...  http://www.marthastewart.com/fireworks-fans?xsc=eml_crd_2008_07_03
