centerpiece ideas

I had my centerpieces all figured out and Now relize that it is not going to work. I am looking for a beach theme wedding. I want my centerpieces to include shells, candles and flowers. The problem I am having is that the place we choose does not allow open flamed candles. We can have candles but you hand can not run over the top while its burning. It would have to be inside something tall enough to prevent buring your hand. Floralytes are out of my price range.  MY colors are brown and green. I had all ready purchased my vases but I think I will have to buy something else. any suggestions ladies????? please help me I only have 50 something days left. ahhhhhhhh

My last wedding we rented extra water glasses and used them for the votive candles to give the above affect with loose orchids. We can get around 1000 loose orchids for $150 with shipping... in green, white or purple. The water glasses were around .49 cents each to rent and we bought the votive holders from

we're using those battery operated "candles" inside  colored frosted votives so you can see the "light" but it's not so obvious that it's not a real candle...
