Ceremony Backdrops

I know that I want a backdrop at my ceremony but I have no idea what it should be like or where to get/ make it. There will be a lot of flowers at my wedding and its going to be very colorful! Any ideas?

 I love the hanging candles!

Having done some acting and directing on stage, a lot of those could just be wooden frames your "Uncle Joe" could make.  Then you just cover the wood with whatever you like and, Voila! ..  it looks like a million bucks.  You could literally wrap the wood in cheap white fabric as a start, just to cover the wood, then wrap it loosely in tulle and go from there.  Easy to nail / tack / hang things on it, because it's wood underneath.

Great ideas! A good frame would be pipe and drape. Basically metal bases with aluminum rods you can put together and hang fabric from.

Another cheaper option would be going with a 10ft or 12ft photography backdrop and stands. You can go with a white fabric muslin or any number of other colors to create those bunched fabric looks.
