Ceremony Inspired by Movie 'The Vow'... Question???

Has anyone seen or been to a ceremony like the one in The Vow? Simple & short but sweet & meaningful none the less. We are considering changing things for our vow renewal and strongly considering a ceremony like that one in a public place (a gorgeous park in Austin). I'm trying to figure out how to pull this off and how the ceremony should go. I would like bridesmaids, but since it will be short & simple I assume there will not be any music, not sure how I would pull of having music there. Anyway, any thoughts on this? Everyone who I have mentioned this idea to has loved it. The park we are looking at is connected to part of a lake and at 6:30 every day they have a water fountain that does a light show. Afterwards we would have dinner at a restaurant and then an after party downtown. The thing that I am stuck on is the ceremony itself and how it would go.

That's exactly what I'm doing!

A ceremony at a lake in Jasper National Park, a meal at my favourite restaurant, some sightseeing and photos in the early evening and then hitting a few bars in town later. (It's all in my bio)

Totally relaxed, no bridal party, just our nearest & dearest celebrating our day with us.

So how would the ceremony go? That's the thing I am having the biggest problem with because I don't know how to pull that off. Mine might be a little more complicated because I will have 2 bridesmaids, plus my daughter as a Junior MoH. I do not think we need an officiant since this is a renewal, just us exchanging our vows.

We have arranged for our officiant to meet us at a spot at 11am, and our guests have been told that that is when the ceremony will start - whether they're there or not!! My Dad is going to walk me down the 'aisle' with my 2 little boys - I want our ceremony to be more about FI & I finally becoming an 'official' family with our boys than just about me and him.

You could have anyone conduct your renewal, or just have it as the two of you exchanging your vows.

Such a good idea. We have two kids, his daughter who is my step daughter and then we have a son together. My step daughter (who I refer to as my daughter because I have helped raise her since she was 2) is going to be my Junior MoH and our son will be his Junior Best Man. My daughter was going to be a Junior BM until I watched an episode of Four Weddings where their daughter was the Junior MoH and I loved that idea. I want it to be a celebration of DH and I still being together & our marriage thriving (after our first year it didn't look like we were going to make it) but also a celebration of us being a family. I will have two girls by my side other than our daughter, one being my brothers wife and the other being my childhood best friend, he will have my two brothers by his side. So I guess it will proceed like a typical ceremony only a lot shorter and without music. Today I am taking our kids to the park to see what it looks like in person (I have only seen pictures) and get an idea of what we will be doing where. I want the ceremony to be by the water so I want to know our options. Thing is though, we still have many months to go (November 2014) so I kind of feel like I am getting ahead of myself.
I am thinking of still doing ceremony programs so people know what's going on, giving out favors at dinner (to-go boxes filled with mini donuts and a thank-you card) and a few other traditional ceremony/reception stuff while still keeping it light & fun.
