T minus six months for everyone! How are you all doing, what do you have left to do, and how are you feeling?
i know right, i got 200 days left! ahhh! i haven't been doing much. just booked all the big stuff. i haven't been in the mood!!!
Things are coming along. All the big stuff is done, all the vendors are under contract, my dress is on order, website is up, and working on the BM dresses (2 of the 5 are done). I am working on favor ideas. A lot of the little things are done (program, day-of schedule, rehersal dinner menu, etc).
I feel like now it is time to hurry up!! We need a minister and musicians yet... whoops..... it is really just logistics and details now. And accessorizing me!
Pretty good! A bit overwhelmed, but most of the work is getting done. :)
Today I am a 190 days. Although I feel pretty good about what is all accomplished, I am hating the fact that with the Holidays approaching, I'm going to lose about a month!! With Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc. What about you guys???
I really need to get on this.. my FMIL lives next to a minister and I think we are asking him this weekend..
as for DJ's contacted one yesterday.. still waiting on the phone call
Been trying out recipes for favors..
have my dress, waiting on my second to be finished. Hopefully I like that one more!
girls are ordering dresses before thanksgiving.. um, what else?
oh yeah.. told FI that we need to start getting addresses and numbers for people.
I fell like I haven't done anything. Planning has been at a standstill...still! As of this weekend I am back in the game.
I am a little behind on the Save-the-Dates, they NEED to go out this week. But I have done alot of work elsewhere.

That's all I can think of. I know I still have to give a playlist to our DJ. Come up with a timeline which I have a preliminary of. And give our videographer 3 music clips for our intro. Not sure what I am forgetting, but it's probably something.
Honestly I am feeling jaded by the commericalism that surrounds weddings in general. I think the commercialism I have seen cheapens the meaning of all weddings just like seeing Christmas decorations on sale in October before Halloween cheapens the meaning of both holidays.
That's just me. After awhile I have gotsick of world of weddings. There's only so much wedding crap I can take from vendors before I say "enough already! Go back under the rock you crawled out from once you heard I was getting married!"
I came into the wedding industry as a bride that had researched it before hand since I had the benefit of being with my fiancee for a long time. So I learned very quickly that most self-proclaimed wedding experts will treat you like a big white cash pinata.
After lurking lots of forums I am still under budget. And way below budget for the average Los Angeles wedding. That is something I am proud of.
Wow!! Awesome Tillilea! :) I'm not sure where I stand.... I know I've done a lot, but also know I have a ton left to do!!!
Ahh I have my food tasting tomorrow, then we need to order the candy for our candy buffet, Saturday the groomsmen and FI are getting fitted, all of the bridesmaids and flowergirl dresses are ordered...everything is pretty much done! The only things we have left to do is everything that needs to wait like addressing the invitations (although we already have them in hand), designing the menu cards (can do that tomorrow after the food tasting), designing placecards (came as a freebie from our stationer so I need to send her the names 2 weeks before the wedding), seating arrangement, dress alterations, call restaurant for rehearsal dinner (do that tomorrow), engagement encounter/retreat (scheduled to do the weekend of January 8), oh yea and pay off all of our vendors (that's a big one!). But most importantly, find a house or else we are moving in with his parents until we find one :)
Yikes...im officially at 6 months away! nerve wrecking and exciting
Need to do and finish by mid November:
We just ordered our invitations last night..Whoo hooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
