***CLAYTONANDSHAUNA Recap Part I: Getting Ready
DH and I went to bed the night before rather late, we were too wired. While I slept like a log, he was tossing and turning all night long. I woke up early (read 5am!) but refreshed. Him, not so much.
I showered, pulled on some clothes and did the final clean up of the living/dining area of our house. Doorbell rang right on the dot of 7:30 and mom was at the door. I still needed to grab my purse, couldn't find my keys or cell phone! Did manage to get out of the door 10 minutes later.
Cara, Rachelle and I road in one vehicle with Stan (Cara's better half) driving, mom and dad drove separately; after one wrong turn we all met up at Carrerio the Studio. We were there before opening our three stylists were all chipper.

All I can say is that our hair turned out amazing. I'll let the pics speak for themselves (courtesy of mom, dad and stan)!

All I can say is that these stylists from Carrerio, the ROCKED our hair!!!
After a night of mind-numbing howling terror DH didn't go back to bed after we left. Instead he got showered and left around ninish to get to Pepper and Dave's Place to get ready. Pepper and Dave were already ready when DH got there so they just chilled and watched City Slickers for awhile before heading over to the chapel.
When we got back from the hair salon Mark was waiting for us in the house. Thank goodness I had given keys to him and Liz, we ended up getting home about 9:30ish, exactly when I had everyone else come. Liz arived shortly after and our photographer, Deanna also arrived. We actually paused to eat, have virgin mimosas and talk before starting in on the make up. I'm glad we took that time to just reflect and be together.
Putting on make up is a bit tricky for me. I can put on the face make-up, I can put on the eye make-up on the right eye but the left eye (?), I always have to do that eye blind! So, when it came time for eye make-up Liz came to the rescue, watching what I did to right eye she would mimic that to the left. Then Rachelle put more make-up on me until my eyes showed through my glasses to her satisfaction.
In the mean time, Cara and Rachelle were figuring out the dresses. In the end Cara forgo the tube top (I had made it too big for her), as did Rachelle (it added to much bulk in the wrong places). They wore it with sleeves and I ended up trimming off a bit from the panels on Cara's dress so they weren't dangling down to her knees!
Deanna was taking pictures of all sorts of things, my shoes, the girls, my dress. I only missed out on getting a photo of me and Adso. We ran out of time and I forgot.
When it came time to put the dress on it took two tries to lace it up. Mom and Liz worked on it (yes, it takes two people to lace up a bride!) and we ended up having to make it tighter up top, then put in the fake boobs! Of course, I forgot to put my shoes on first and had to get Liz to help me with that and discovered that my ankles were a bit swollen so we had to losen the strap to the biggest one.
Mean while Clay, with Pepper and Dave met his folks, Travis, Phil and Jho at the Chapel. They mostly (in DH's words) "milled around waiting for people to arrive."
Just as we were heading into the truck it started to rain :( but managed to hold off until we got to the chapel. It took mom AND dad to get me into the truck! Rachelle texted DH that were on our way (and later found out that he didn't have his cell with him!) and caravaned over to the chapel.
