Confused..

So my last BC pill of the pack was the day before our wedding. AF came like normal a few days later. Then my next period was 1 month 1 week later. This one was took almost 2 months to show up! How do I judge when my next one should come? The last 2 times AF came it's only been for 1 or 2 days. I have no idea how to tell when I should be ovulating either.

Any one else having trouble like this after stopping BC?

I am not on BC nor have I ever been. But I think it's normal for it to take a while to get back to normal cycles.

they say to give it about 3 months until it can be a "normal" cycle.. before bc was it normal?  I would schedule an appointment just to make sure since it seems to sound like it's been a few months. or at least call and talk to the doc/nurse..

But I know it's common for it to be very weird after BC

I think this is definately common for your periods to take a while to be regular again.  Where they irregular before you started BC?  That might give you a better idea of what to expect now that you aren't on it anymore.  I would wait for 3 months and see what happens and then if they are not on schedule anymore, go see your doctor.  Chances are if you go before then the doc is just going to tell you that you should wait to see if they regulate themselves.

Also, have you started charting?  That will give you a better idea of when you are ovulating as well give you a chance to track your signs and symptoms of O'ing as well as AF.  It will also be helpful information for your doctor should any problems arise with AF or fertility.

Hope that helps!
