Creative Ways to Show Menu Choices on Place Cards?

I wasn’t planning on creating place cards, but since we are doing a sit down dinner, my venue wants to have place cards for all of the guests indicating if they are eating steak or chicken.  Do any of you ladies have any creative ways of indicating dinner choices?  I have decided to have wine corks as place holders for the cards (picture below) since my take home favor for all of the guests is going to be a bottle of wine.

I saw where some put a small pic of a fish, and I think a cow to identify food choices.

oops. edit:: In your case a chicken.

I love the stamps!

You can also do different colors for different entrees- like people eating chicken have a red place card and people eating beef have a white one (whatever your colors are). If they are different colors it will make it really easy for the staff to tell who gets what plate- even if the lights are dim.
