Crinoline do or don

So I tried my dress on yesterday for my sisters to see. I love it so much! It looks so much nicer in real lighting then it did in the salon! My only concern is I feel like the very bottom could be a little fuller. I will add the picture below but you can't really see the bottom it's not a mermaid it's just kind of straight. I don't even know what the skirt is called. Is it a-line (I thought that proofed out more) I'm so confused! Lol anyways the more important question is can I add crenoline to it too make it have a little more ? Or do they only make crenoline for big dresses. What do you ladies think any advice.

I think you need to try it with the crinoline. My SIL didn't want one (because of the extra layers adding extra heat on what was going to be a very warm day already) but once she tried one on, at the insistence of the wonderful guy at David's Bridal, she fell in love with how it looked.

The only way to know for sure is to try!

I just don't know how id go about buying it. My dress is already home with me and I'd rather not buy it from the place I bought my gown. Would I just call and ask if I could bring my dress in and try it on with the stuff under it?

I would, or a different bridal salon if you don't want to go back to yours. Do you have a David's Bridal near you? They have a lot of different ones that you could try...or order online and return??

We do have a David's bridal. I'll call and ask if I can come and try some.

You can totally call a few places and make an appointment to bring your dress in to try on crinolines, and it for sure doesn't have to be the place where you bought it. They want the sale, so any place should be more than accomodating since you pretty much need your dress with you to see how it will look!

I was in the exact same boat as you, I ended up buying a small crinoline on the PW Classifieds for about $20, so I couldn't try it on beforehand but I figured for that price I wasn't out much if I didn't like it. I ended up loving how it looked, it added just enough volume to the body of my dress. And I sold it after the wedding so bonus! You might try looking there or other places online, maybe after you go and try some on with your dress to see if you like the look.

I agree. I plan to wear a small one under my dress to give it a little more fullness but not too much.
