Damask print??

Hi ladies!

- Anyone else using Damask print?
- Any ideas where else to incorporate it in the wedding?
- Where do you get your Damask prints? (paper, ribbon, etc?)

Thanks!

We're using it for our cake and our wedding favor boxes.

I'm having such a hard time finding things to purchase in that print - mainly ribbon!

Yah, I can't find ribbon either? I am also looking for paper, if I can't find paper my plan is to use my scroll stamp and emboss. But I'd rather not. It weird, I didn't think it would be this hard to find the print. Thank god I finally found the table runner for our kings table, and it was affordable.

I'm not going to go overboard with it, I'm just using it subtly because I think it will tie our scheme together nicely.

I am using it for:
- One table runner (Kings table)
- Place cards (using my stamp and embossing the sides of place card)
- Background paper for my table names

In the big picture thats not much the way I have it planned I guess. Just seeing what everyone else is up to with the print? Or where your getting it at?

HMM - We picked an invitation that had a black & white brocade detail (from Wedding Paper Divas - PIB), so that got me started. I then got black & white brocade paper from Papersource (it was Anna Griffin, like the My Gatsby link you posted). I just bought one 12"x12" sheet and then xeroxed it to use for my placecards and other reception signage. I also used it to wrap presents:

We got our black & white brocade tablecloths from Classic Party Rentals (Essence Onyx) and used them for the cocktail tables and the cake table (PIB).

Here are some other ideas:

Hi HMM - I'm pretty sure that the paper I got can be bought here (in the Dorothy Collection):

http://www.qbaroo.com/annagriffin/index.cfm?category=5

I'm 99% sure it's the fifth sheet from the right in their photo.

But - I do still have the paper! I wonder if I can do a high-res scan and email it to you? I'll try later today...

Abby from Style Me Pretty posted yesterday on the Macbeth Collection (http://www.themacbethcollection.com/index.shtml), and I noticed that they carry not one but TWO black & white damask/brocade patterns, as well as a zillion others. Their products aren't the cheapest, but you could get away with just a few, and they're so cool!

Hi,
I am also doing a damask theme wedding, and want my favors, decorations and invitations to coordinate as much as possible. I have been doing some research and found a few sites that have the cutest damask items! I just purchased the damask print favor labels and mint tins that are personalized with my wedding date and my fiances and my names, and they are really cute!! I also found a place where I am about to order my damask print wedding invitations from! Hope this helps!!

I think it would be lovely if you put some damask ribbon or fabric around your bouqet!

I'm doing damask print also, but not tons of it.  We're using damask lamps for centerpieces, a little on the invites, on a guest book I bought, and maybe a few other touches here and there.  We're mainly using it to spice up our black/white/silver wedding.

We DIYed the invites and I worked with a graphic designer to make them.  I'll post pics as soon as I'm done with them!  I know that www.whiteaisle.com had a bunch of paper products with damask print on them.
