Decorating the aisle?

So we're getting married on the beach so obviously we don't need TOO much, but I still want to do something as aisle decor.

We will be using white wooden folding chairs and I'm thinking of doing some chair sashes, but I'm at a loss for what to do for the aisle! I want to do something a little bit different, but I don't know what.

Here is the ceremony space. I put my Photoshopped Google satellite image as well so you can see JUST how long the aisle really is.

So we re getting photo 3373656-1

I really like the raffia idea! I'm trying not to go with the shells and cliche beach theme, but I'm sure I could figure something else to put in there. The sand isn't too deep there so I'm not sure how well the shepherd's hooks would hang, but I can check it out next time I'm down there.

Breezes- our wedding is at 1pm, but I could make those look really pretty.

Thank you ladies! Keep those ideas coming ^_^

If it's breezy maybe branches tied to the chairs with long ribbons on them, which will flow in the breeze?

Hmm, I can't find the picture, but I remember seeing a beautiful beach wedding done in light wood and aqua. The aisle was decorated with simple square pillars holding urns with sandblasted (looked like driftwood) manzanita branches with white orchid sprays. The alter was made of light colored bamboo poles and had capiz shell strands strung from it as a backdrop. And the reception centerpieces were more urns with sandblast manzanita branches with white orchids. It was so unexpected and pretty!

I found a picture of the reception tables, so I'll just load that up here. =) I'm pretty sure the orchids in the pictures are silk, but they look fantastic!

Beautiful! Yeah I'm going really simple so I don't take away from the beauty of the beach!

I showed FI and he really likes the stakes with strands of ribbon attached to line the aisle. And then we'll tie some tulle in different shades of blue on the back of all of the chairs.

I just found this on WeddingBee as well. DIY Bamboo aisle runner for the win!

I've seen rose petals scattered along the edges of the aisle which looks gorgeous along the white folding chairs. You could even play with the beach them and scatter seashells along each edge of your aisle!

Or you could do driftwood pieces interspersed with candles down both sides of the aisle! That would be beautiful. I can't find a picture of it, but it's pretty in my head. Lol.

Oh Little Bit I love that! It's going to depend where the driftwood that is there naturally is at too. But I can't control the ocean, so we'll see, LOL!

What about posts in the ground/sand with ribbon on them going the whole aisle?  then in between them doing lanterns or something... Then the ribbon would blow in the breeze (like someone else said).  :)  Whatever you do Hals, it's going to be GORGEOUS!
