DESPRATE! please help with inspo pics

Hi ladies, so about three days a go my fiance decied he wanted to change almost EVERYTHING about the wedding whith only 8 months to go.  I agreed ( marriage is a comperamise right?) but I decied not to change the theme. I really dont want to change the theme.  the theme is baroque/romance/glamour with colors of maroon/burgandy, black, gold.  We were orginanlly going to be married in Las Vegas at the Artisan Hotel in the gardenHi ladies so about photo 3442822-1


it was going t be at dusk FILLED with candel light.


the insde of the hotel was going to give the mood for the rest of the party

so, now the wedding is 99% for sure happing on/near/somewhere with a veiw of the beach.  now I know there is a good median but I cant seem to find any photos :(  so please if you see any pictures of a dark glamours romantic wedding at the beach PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post them here.  thank you.

i found this. They had dark colors. Is it on the beach? If so you could just use darker colors like if you do an archway, wood chairs or covers use your black. It could be an evening ceremony? I dont exactly have a theme for my wedding and its on the beach. Not very beachy colors and no sea shell overkill either. Just because its on the beach doesnt mean it has to be beachy!

All I can say about a beach wedding is make sure it is not during Low tide!


Other than that I think anything works! I would plan for sunset or a sunrise wedding if using really dark colors. Because a jewel toned sky would be a perfect backdrop!


BTW I would LOVE to be invited to a sunrise wedding it would be so unique and wonderful and you could have a breakfast instead of dinner with momosa's Oh how lovely that would be!!!!

I agree with the ladies that you can still do anything even though it's a "beach wedding"! Stick with your colors. Have you used the search button on PW? It's at the top right...and you can find other brides on here that have done beach weddings for some ideas. I came across this one:
