did any of you have wedding crashers come to your wedding

I had 2 girls come over to my wedding that was from the other wedding from the other room. my mom told me that she was in the bathroom and 2 girls came up to her and said we love your music that your wedding is done and the wedding that we are attending is boring. i noticed the 2 girls dancing the thriller and i asked my husband who are those girls and he said i don't know them. My husband had his best friend to the thriller dance cause he knew the dance well. I thought it was funny that my mom told me this.

I have never crashed a wedding reception and I don't know of anyone who this has happened to.

I have gone to the church to see weddings that were of people I did not know, but I belonged to the congregation. I love weddings and since it does not cost the bride/groom for me to sit in a pew I did not see it as an issue. I just sat in the way back and left quickly after the ceremony and everyone else had left.

How do you feel about people you do not know sitting and watching your celebration?

I think you should be honored that they felt your party was awesome enough to crash

Too bad you did not get their info they could have become great friends. I find that I meet the coolest people in the strangest ways.

I wonder if any of the other brides have experienced what I have done, mind I was 17 at the time and in love with the idea of marriage, or what these ladies have done by crashing the dance floor at your reception.

We got married in the lobby of a hotel (a very open and public room) and I can't remember anyone entering the room the whole time!

No wedding crashers, though many of my former students said they were going to find out where my wedding was taking place and they would crash it.  They didn't want to cause trouble--they honestly just wanted to see me get married.  When I told them we were at our max guest list, they even said, "It's okay, we'll stand in the back.  We want to be your cheering section!"  It was quite sweet.

We did!!! We got married in England, in a small pub -the ceremony and reception were in the same room and the bar was in the main restaurant area right next to the wedding space. Around 11pm or so, 2 women wandered in from the bar and started dancing! We didn't mind at all -they weren't bothering anyone or being obnoxious or anything, just dancing away :O

Oh, and they didn't exactly blend in since we only had 70 people in total, and by that time of night, there were probably only about 40 or so -and they were in jeans lol

I feel like inviting random people for dancing at the end of the food/main wedding stuff. . .

It would be a lot of fun to keep dancing the night away. Most of my guests are older and will be leaving early.

Yes! Our wedding was on NYE and there was a big party going on downstairs. Well, supposedly the party goers did not like the party that they were at, mind you they paid $100-$150 to attend, and were trying to come into our wedding. The hotel had security standing outside our reception because people kept trying to come in telling them we looked like we were having a blast and the music was good. As the night went on, we could see people looking in through one of the doors that was open and I turned to see two guys standing close by the dance floor. I walked over there and asked if they were crashing my wedding and they said they just wanted to say congrats and happy new year. Whatever. Lol! We had about 45min to an hr left so I let them hang out. : )

Nope, no wedding crashers at ours, but I know it's happened to a few friends and most of the time they didn't care - apparently, their music was better too!  lol

We didnt have any crashers that we knew of, but after the wedding many of my friends and family went to the bar in the casino! It was really fun... And I kept getting drinks. Something about a big white dress will do that, lol! And we watched as the bride from the other wedding next door was carried out of her reception, yelling that her wedding was the best wedding that night at my bridal party and me.... Lol!

We had a bride and a few of her guest from another hall “crash” our wedding. She invited us over to visit hers as well, so I guess it was mutual crashing lol. It didn’t bother me at all. Here are a few pics are her wedding :0

Im from Scotland and over there people always go to the church to watch weddings even if they don’t know the bride or groom. I would have no problem whatsoever with someone wanting to watch and share in our special time.
