Different sleeping schedules...ugh!

FI and I are both night owls.  I have to be at work at 7:45 but I'll stay up till 11-12.  My FI isn't working right now and he likes staying up till 2-3 a.m.  I don't like going to bed by myself EVERY single night.  It's getting old.  I've told him this and said I don't see why if he wants to maintain a healthy relationship he can't come to bed early a few nights a week.  I'm not saying he has to go to bed with me every night, but I'm not single here, why do I want to sleep alone?!  Also, since he's not working right now (a whole other vent in itself) he's on the internet all day, all night, when I get home (I go on FB and PW and do work stuff) so I don't see why he has to stay up and be on there till 2 or 3!!!!

Pissing me off.  I hope he gets a job soon.  Does anyone else have opposite sleep schedules?

I have totally posted about this before :) FI is a shift worker so we are never and I mean never on the same sleep schedule. Maybe 2 days in a month we will go to bed at the same time, but even then we don't really get up at the same time because I am a morning person!

We have totally different schedules which leave me sleep deprived. He sleeps 3am - noon while I sleep sometime between 12 & 3 - 7 or 8am. It's painful and annoying!

I completely understand the frustration of him not sleeping with you. I hate sleeping alone.

Awww, you two have it worse than me.  My situation is hopefully just temporary.  I don't know how you do it!  You must be very patient.  I can't even imagine!
