yum! i love that combo. i had a mozzarella, tomato, basil and prosciutto sandwich for lunch yesterday!

we didn't cook for dinner last night. DH and i spent all day helping our friends move into their new apartment, so they treated us to the most amazing pizza at one of their favorite spots. thin crust brick oven pizza with fresh mozzarella and ricotta (white pie, no tomato sauce) with fresh spinach on top, a sprinkle of toasted pine nuts and parmesan cheese and a drizzle of truffle oil.... so yummy! i feel like going back there for another pie tonight!

Holy dooley! Nothing quite as expensive as that for us. We're on a mega grocery budget 'cause we were doing about $300 a week and that was a bit rediculous! LOL

Probably a lamb roast in a mint sauce, mashed potatoes in gravy and roast veggies for us since it's sunday and you can't beat a sunday roast. :) Might even go crazy and share a bottle of Cab Sav. hahaha

I'm alone and grazing tonight.  I ate a bowl of pasta salad about an hour ago.  It had bowtie pasta, black olives, artichoke hearts, feta cheese, capers, sun-dried tomatoes and a Tuscan vigaigrette dressing.

A little later I'll eat a bowl of burgoo.  It's a Kentucky stew-type thing that my granny makes once every year for Labor Day.  She made it today and it's so good!
