DIY Aisle Runner Questions

I really liked how some of the PW girls did aisle runners with their monogram and wedding date..so I went to Joann's to buy just 60ft of cotton muslin fabric and they priced me $65??!  Is this a normal price.  Some of the girls I thought only paid $15..

BTW.  Does any one have coupons to Joanns?

Joann's is usually a bit pricey try checking out Walmart or other fabric stores in your area for better deals. Also your price is going to be based on how many yds you need. I think muslin usually runs about 1.99 a yard.

Try this place http://www.save-on-crafts.com/aislerunners1.html.  You can buy an already-made one.  I also saw some at Party City for like $24.99 or something close to that.

ohhhh ok.. gotcha.. i guess i dont really need an aisle runner.. but i want to make something to put somewhere, large enough for people to read ( and get a good laugh) that says "to have, to hold, to annoy" lol :O)  any ideas??? the only thing i could think of would be like at the cake table, or something, to have it typed and framed for people to see.. i dunno though.. im not sold on that idea.. but the saying fits us perfectly, so i HAVE to have it somewhere haha
