diy cake boards?

does anyone have any good instructions for covering a round cake board with fabric?

I would use a spray adhesive on top (the part that will show) if I were you, and then a fabric glue on the bottom to tuck it underneath securely. But as far as official directions, I haven't seen anything, I'll keep a lookout

i forgot to ask - if my cake is 12" on the bottom - do you guys think 14" would be wide enough?

Thats about right, just depends how heavy your cake is and if you want any bottom decor???


14" would give you an extra inch around the whole cake- sometimes bakers do 2" around...
