DIY Luminarias?

Did you guys see these in Martha Stewart Weddings?  I was thinking of POSSIBLY using them for centerpieces...groups of 3 or 5 in the center of the tables...printed in black instead of orange of course...sorry pic is so small....

uuummm, i think alot would depend on the type of paper and the quality of the printing...  lots of stuff you can do at home w/o it looking complete cheeseball imo...

obviously, using reams of white paper from office-depot would like a little "off", but if you found nicer paper - with maybe some sheen or a little "somthing"

and office printers are awesome b/c theyre so much faster that home printers...

do a test run and dim the lights in your own dining room or kitchen or wherever - set a table with florals and see if you like it???

hahahhaaa.....nice!!

i was going to do exactly that...make some up and see how it looks....then i have to buy cheap candleholders and candles!

and the Martha instructions tell you where to order some "better" paper in a "natural white" color....

I made some (PIB) just an FYI make sure you can anchor them if you are having an outdoor wedding, otherwise they can blow away...

Mine are a little different but if you are interested I can tell you more about how I made them... they're also up for grabs if you want (shameless offering I know) just PM me
