Do Aden and Anais blankets stains?

Does anyone own Aden + Anais muslin blankets?  Just wondering.  I want to stock up on blankets and hear great things about A+A but these just seem so white to me.  Won't they get stained from spit up and accidents and dirt?

My DD was not a spitter so I have no idea about that but they stayed pretty white for me. I'm sure they have some stains but that's ok. I really like them although we didn't use them for nighttime swaddling but during the day we did and they are awesome for putting over the carseat and for nursing.

Mine didn't stain.  My guy is formula fed which stains more then BM.  I used them like Kristin said - to cover the car seat since they are thin.  G hated to be swaddled so that was out.  They kinda suck for spit-up because they are so thin.

Princess, what kind of blankets do you use?  I want to get good, multipurpose blankets for swaddling, burping, cover ups, etc.  Was hoping A+A would be it, based on so many reviews.  Do you have the Aden by A+A blankets, which are the value line sold in Target and BBB vs the original A+A?

I have the ones from Target.

I used flannel ones that you can find just about anywhere for burping.  The best places are TJ Maxx or Ross - they have 4 packs for around $5 to $6.  I didn't spend alot on them since they would be used to burp / clean up spit up etc so they didn't need to be fancy lol.  Gerber cloth diapers at BRU are great too - they are about $10 for a pack and make awesome burp cloths!  Also - burp cloths total waste of $$$!  They are soooo tiny!

I would get the A+A once for cover-ups and swaddling but not for burping.

Like I said my guy HATED to be swaddled and I live in FL so it's hot so blankets didn't get much use :(

Gotcha, thanks.  Yeah, I totally agree with the burp clothes.  I was at a friend's house this past weekend and her baby girl let out this huge spit up after feeding, to which the burp cloth barely got any of it.  So I know I want blankets instead.  I'll check out the ones in BRU since I have that gift card to spend.

The original ones are way way way thicker and nicer in my opinion. And don't spend too much on blankets for spit up - I think I could count on one hand the number of times Ash has spit up in her two years :)
