Do You Go ALL OUT For Valentines Day?

This is going to be our first Valentine's Day in our new home and I am trying to decide if I should get crazy and decorate all of our rooms or just do something simple.

So Ladies, do you have a certain area of your home that you decorate or do you do a little bit in each room?

Show us what you have.  : )

lol. Funny you posted this because I was just thinking to myself that I never decorate any other rooms other than the formal living room and dining room. lol. I think we'll keep it that way for Valentines as well.

It's our first Valentines in our home, so I kinda feel obligated (more-so the need) to decorate for every holiday within our first year. haha. I don't want miss out on anything! Although $ is a little tight, I'm still going to decorate! But of course, decorate on a budget...

Here is what is on my list for Vday decor. I'll prob make most of my stuff in burlap.

  1. 4 Throw Pillows (make new cases for the existing throw pillows) and if I have leftover material, I think I will make a table runner.

  2. Paper Heart Garlands

  3. Cupcake Wrapper Wreath

  4. or

  5. Burlap Wreath

  6. 3 apocrathy jars filled with treats in vday colors

I'm budgeting around $60.

What rooms are you thinking about decorating?

LOL - you are too cute...we are on the same wavelength.

I think I am just going to end up decorating our living room and maybe the dining room now that we just got our table delivered yesterday.  I'm planning on making everything this weekend.  I hope that I can create a few things with my new Cricut that I have only been able to use once since I got it.  LOL

I can't wait to see your projects.  : )

Valentine day a day of love is near and we all want to celebrate this day with our loved ones; a well decorated home can enhance the pleasure of this celebration. With little creativity and imagination you can turn your bedroom into most romantic place.
1)First of all it is very necessary to clean your home not only the bedroom but the whole home so that the guest who visit your house on this day can feel special.
2)Good choices of color can enhance the mood of celebration; do not go for too much pink it is good to use the traditional red, the color of love in your valentine decoration.
3)Lighting can be very effective to spice up the romance, it is good to use candle light as you can out them in the corners of room also to get the effect.
4)Use light color curtains to dressing up your windows, if you choose to sleep in the dark, try a sheer curtain with a blurry background.
5)Just collect your sweet memories like the pictures of the two of you together, gifts and greetings shared by you or any other thing which can help to add some personal touch in your decorations.
6)Last but not the least Pamper yourself by taking a hot shower bath and get yourself in a beautiful dress and feel the romance in the air.
