Does this look OK?

So I decided that I want two manzanita trees for the ceremony decor but I'm worried about shipping them to me and getting them down to where we are getting married without breaking them. I found these rubber, bendable trees online that I was thinking about getting.

I need your opinions please - is this tacky looking or really dissimilar from how you girls have seen manzanita centerpieces?? This one is 4 feet tall - that's the smallest one they have. TIA!!

So I decided that photo 86675-1

That's a good idea about just ordering one. I was going to attach some flowers and hang votives from the branches. Exactly what I would do with the manzanita - I didn't think crystals went with my venue. Apparantly you can bend the branches into whatever shape you want - I guess they are wired.

cool!!!  there's an advantage =)

yeah order one - and see how much weight (the votive + candle) the branch can hold before it strts to bend a liitle too much ya know??

i love the look of manzanitas and crystals - but i'm betting by the time my wedding rolls around next august, it's gonna be "out" and sooo 2006 and 2007... hahaha

Honestly, I was thinking something a little more plain - just glass votive holders hung with wire. Although, those are really pretty! Maybe I should change my mind about no crystals!

well... you could do plain votives in a frosted holder for a more "subdued" flame??

or clear votive works too - but then you'd need something for the candlelight to "bounce off" of...

maybe add these little glass beads like they are "sprouting" from the branches?
well you could do photo 86695-1

or extend these along the branches?
well you could do photo 86695-2

well you could do photo 86695-3

They are 4' tall and I was planning on getting pillars to place them on. I don't think 4' is high enough to just sit on the floor.

No, the ceremony and reception are both in the cellar. The guests will go on a winery tour and us on a carriage ride while they flip the room.

I don't mind! The ceilings are super tall - like 15' at least! I thought about that then remembered how high they are. I'm hoping to find not super tall pillars - I actually am waiting to hear if the winery can get me two extra wine barrels to use. I thought that would be cool to set them on.

aaaahhhh - perfecto!!!

the wine barrels are perfecto - since they're wider than a "normal" pillar
