Dress Ordering Accidents

My wedding is in five and a half weeks. One of my bridesmaids delayed and delayed buying her dress. Now David's Bridal called her and said they ordered her dress in the color of the sash we are going to use NOT the color the dress was supposed to be. And the replacement will not arrive until 2 days after the wedding.
The girls dresses do not match as I let them pick their own style in the same color and length. We are currently hunting style that will work instead but...
Do you think it would look strange to have one (out of the three) bridesmaids wearing the opposite colors? Light Pink dress and Rose colored sash instead of Rose colored dresses and Light Pink sash?

And/or has anyone encountered situations like this?

I'd appreciate any comments :D

I've seen this done before. The MOH where something a little different from the bridesmaids, and it was really nice. Is she your bm or moh?

She's a bridesmaid. If only they were the same size I could have her switch with my sister:D Oh, well. We will see what comes up. I'm sure it will all work out, they usually do.

I wouldn't worry about it. Maybe have her stand in between the other two girls, the good thing is that she's coordinating with the other two girls just in opposite ways, so everyone will think that you meant to do it. It will look beautiful! :) Good luck!

junebride is right, have her stand between the others and flip the sash/dress combo around and no one will be the wiser - it was supposed to be that way!!

I have to say I had issues with davids bridal as well...but on the up side, one of the prob was that they stressed me out about when my dresses would be here....and they got here a month before what they told me. So there is actually hope that the other dress will be here. Doesnt hurt to be ready for it if it isnt I am just saying dont xactly count out the fact the dress may come

You can have your bridesmaid with the different color dress wear the sash of one of the others, and the other can wear her sash. Basically - switch sashes so that it looks like it was planned this way.
