Dresses?

Has anyone started their dress shopping yet??  I'm curious if anyone has had an great experiences (yay!)  or terrible experiences (boo!) with the shops around town.

I just bought my dress for an April 30th wedding.

I started at David's Bridal in the North Hills. It was a weekday evening, so nobody was in the store, which was nice since I had more then one girl helping me. I figured out my style quickly (which was COMPLETELY different then what I pictured I'd like). I really liked one of the dresses here.

My mother came for a visit, and she went around with me to try on dresses. We went to the Alfred Angelo in Monroeville. AWFUL. I didn't have an appointment, but I wanted to try on 2 dresses that I saw in their catalog. NO ONE was in the store, but the girl refused to let me try on the dresses myself, and she gave me an appt time of an hour and a half later.

So we went to Exquisite Bride in Murrysville. I didn't have an appt here either, but as I was browsing, the girl who was working behind the desk came over and was extremely helpful. I wanted a ball gown, and she pulled every ball gown out a little so I could find them easier. She then helped me in and out of all the dresses, and I really loved one of them.

Alfred Angelo Part 2: They have a system there apparently, that they want you to try on 5 dresses, and pick apart each one and blah blah blah, and they need you to try on a dress that would match your size. I don't know how many dresses I tried on, but it was absurd. I tried on the ones I liked, then she decided to pull dresses that I might like. They were ugly, but I tried them on anyways to be nice. I kept trying to leave, but she kept pulling them.

I also went to the Exquisite Bride in Gibsonia. It's a smaller store, but the lady that helped me was super nice. I found a dress in there too that I did like.

Anyways, I went back to the Exquisite Bride in Murrysville to buy the dress I liked, and try on others just in case. This time I had an appt, but I was extremely unimpressed with the girl helping me. I ended up buying the dress anyways, but now I'm a little uneasy about it.

Wow, this was long. Let me summarize:
Love the Exquisite Bride stores
Like David's Bridal in North Hills
Hate Alfred Angelo in Monroeville.
