Become a runner...that's the best thing to do and always keep in mind that weight loss is about calories in and calories out.

I am in the same boat but because I know its pure laziness that brought on my extra lbs. I am just going to Walk it Out <----lol but seriously I do about two miles on the track walking a relatively fast pace about 4 times a week with low/moderate exercise (to build up my heart rate and burn calories) on off days

I have to lose about 10 lbs in less than 2 months. I definitely need to be drinking a lot more water and not eating so late at night!!

I'm 10 pounds into my goal of 50 pounds by June 2011.  I exercise 5 days a week.  3 days are running, I'm up to 4 miles on my long run days and for the other 2 days, I'm strength or cross training.  I also have my second 5K coming up.

If you have a sweet tooth like me- try substituting regular sweets with fruit.  And water heavy fruits are helpful like melons and grapes. I have a trainer friend that say do strength training.  He says cardio is great but it only burns calories for like 3-4 hours after your work out.  Strength training burns calories for 2-3 days afterward.

I recently joined Jazzercise.  Which is old school, but they often have promotions on membership or trial memberships (a few months or so).  You get everything- cardio, abs, arms, pilates, yoga, kickboxing.  And most classes are an hour long- so you're really working your body.  they also have 30 min express class or pure toning classes. I've only done seven classes so far and it was on the 7th one that I thought, "Yes! I can do this!"  In stead of "God please kill me!" lol!

Hope that helps!

Yesterday I was measured for and purchased for $130.00 a strapless body magic by ardyss.  It takes off three dress sizes for real and I am comfortable.  I tried on my mother's and wore it around the house last week and decided that this is what I need!
