Engagement Party

I am in the stages on picking a place to have the engagemend party and I am stressed! Who all really needs to be there because the problem I find is that numbers just continue to add up! Does anyone have any advice on that????

Family and close friends first. Then if you have space left on your list you add others. That's what I'd do anyways.

I agree. Family and close friends first, then add whoever else. And the friends that you weren't able to invite..you can always invite them to the couples shower!

Millersgal, my fianc? and I didn't have an engagement party and we are thrilled to start dreaming about our wedding. One of my beasties was also recently engaged and they had an engagement party with the people who live near them. My view is that it is a beautiful excuse to party but not necessary.
