expected to rain

I am helping planning for my niece and she is getting married in a Japanese garden on a friday evening in 10 days.  there can be no decorations , just the beauty of flowering garden.  It is supposed to rain 3 days solid here before and the day of the weddng.  Her reception site is not that pretty, but we are doing our best to make it nice with the tables and place settings (cost was a factor).  the food is going to be wonderful.  The only option is to move the wedding inside.  There is one entrance, (another thru a bathroom) and the tables will be set up.  the building is rectangle/square almost, with a stage at the end.  It does have a dance floor.  Should we move the chairs to make and isle? or leave them at the round tables? there will be about 120 guest.  Any help or suggestions to make this space nicer would be appreciated.  Thanks

Does the venue have a staff? You might try talking to anyone who has worked a wedding there before (even if it is a one time consultation with a day of planner) to get a game plan based on what has worked before.

Good luck! (and remember, rain on the wedding day is a GOOD sign, and means fortune and happiness for the couple)
