Fabric swatches for a guest book?

I really want to have fabric squares available for guests to sign "guest book" style and then sew it into a throw. Anyone know what brand fabric marker is the best? I want a fine tip that won't bleed. I went to Michael's and the woman wasn't helpful at all. I asked her if I bought a few and they weren't to my liking if I could return them. She said "you would have to read our return policy" and walked away. I was annoyed at that point so I just left without asking another worker. Any recommendations ladies?

I saw some crayola ones when I was at the craft store today.

I HATE Joann's because I've had terrible terrible terrible experiences with their corporate office and customer service but they do have these

I found this fine point permanent black fabric pen, $3.00 at:

back the fabric swatches with something stiff so they are easier to sign, then peel them off when your ready to sew them.
