Can any of you ladies give me suggestions for guest wedding favors or show photos of the favors you gave and where you got them?
we had empty candy jars on each setting with a little wedding photo tagged on each one. the guests took the jars to the candy table, filled them up and took them home! other ones i have seen are really small picture frames, small pot with seeds in it, sees candies, m&ms with the bride/grooms name in them
I am handing out custom heart shaped matchboxs and an organza bag filled with dried apples and cinnimin.
I thought about giving kisses too!
Our idea is to put a gift box together for our guests with some fresh baked treats, some soap, wine in a can, maybe some old fashioned candies. Treats that we love and want our guests to enjoy too!
Ours might be a chocolate favor of some sort wrapped in cellophane with a ribbon in our wedding colors that has our name and date on them. We're still on the fence about them since we don't really think it's necessary to give them out. At least we agreed that we wanted to do something edible so that way we know the favors get "used".
I am doing these cookies called Thank a lots in five different languages...girl scout cookies are the best!
Wendy, the cookies are such a great idea!
We had friends did white chocolate lollipops wrapped in cellophane and personalized ribbons, fans, candles, coasters, personalized M&M candies, candy buffets.
We are doing a candy buffet that is doubling as a favor. going to order custom stickers and get cellophane bags.
We're going to do M&M's
We are doing little tins of candy that look like board game boxes (They are so cute!), and CD favors.
We are also doing the personalized M&M's, in clear boxes so you can see what's on them, and then personalized ribbons. We're hoping to get a photobooth with a nice template also to serve as a little extra "favor", but so far the budget is not allowing it! :-(
Since our wedding colors are Chartruese and Chocolate Brown, we decided to take dried kiwis and dip them in chocolate. Were going to box them in 2x2 favor boxes (brown) with Chartruese colored ribbon.
Also, will be putting bubbles on the chair that will be stamped with "Love is in the Air". Their will be directions on the other side of the tag saying "blow these bubbles as the bride and groom are announced as Husband and Wife"
Lots of great ideas here ladies. I would really try to find inspiration in your wedding. If its a vineyrad ( a bottle opener/stopper). If you are musicians or music lovers you can put a CD together of your favorite songs. There is a great chocolate studio that I know of that will custom make your chocolate if need be and does great boxes/wrappings for you. If you want more ideas shoot me an email.
I got these at Dollar Tree Store
I'm making frosted sugar cookies for our favors.
WE ARE DOING PERSONALIZED FORTUNE COOKIES, DIPPED IN CHOCOLATE WITH COLORED SPRINKLES. WE CHOOSE THOSE BECAUSE ANYONE THAT KNOWS US, KNOWS WE ARE OBSESSED WITH READING OUR FORTUNES AND EATING THE COOKIES DIFFERENT WAYS TO MAKE OUR FORTUNE COME TRUE :)
