Fitness Support!!!

Hey all,


I know there are many of us who want to be fit or stay fit but don't have the motivation to do so. I want to start a thread where we can support and encourage each other along they way.


Every time we work out/exercise we'll blog about it. If you didn't get to work out or do anything physical for whatever reason that's okay too; blog about it and we'll encourage you to do so next time. Ate that cheese burger for lunch and feeling guilty about it, let us know and we'll make sure dinner is a healthier option.


Have any questions about dieting and exercise? We'll help you out.


Also! I was thinking about weekly challenges to make it fun. For example, one challenge will be "300 crunches/sit-ups a day" for a week. Every time we complete this challenge we'll blog our accomplishments :)

I'm in!!  I need some motivation this fall with all the yummy holiday food around!  I've been back from our HM for 1 week and have only worked out 1 day.  I really need to get back to it!

Just post what you eat and your exercise regime daily.


I'll also be posting some useful fitness and diet articles to help us along the way.


Good luck! Hopefully this weekend you can fit just 30 mins of exercise into your schedule - you can do it!

I went jogging today!! I did about 2.5 miles of walking/jogging and Im gonna feel it tomorrow! Also got past a serious craving for Oreos! Hahaha
The plan for tomorrow is to start Jillian Michaels 30 day shred to get kick started again.
What us everyone else doing this weekend?

Amazing! I knew you could do it :) Extra kudos on rejecting the oreos cravings too. Anyone 1 who says no to oreos deserves an award in my book.
JM 30 shred is a great workout, I wish I knew were I put the DVD - I'd start with you. Though I didn't not workout today, I did walk a LOT around the city. That's gotta count for something ;)

Well I finally went to yoga today. Half way through the hour long class I wanted to quit and go home but I didn't. It was a great workout! I almost forgot how challenging Yoga can be.


What I did mess up was dinner. Since I barely ate today, after yoga I was famished! So when I got home I ate left over chines food! (OK and a little bit of pasta, it hurts to admit that!!!).


I wont beat myself up about too much, tomorrow I'll make sure I eat enough through out the day so I wont stuff my face during dinner.

Went to yoga today even though I wasnt feeling well. Not a good idea, those the class was good. I left the class with wet hair which made my condition even worse so now Im in bed, sick!! ugh. I hope I can get rid of this germ by Friday.

Wedding Planning has left me unmotivated to exercise or eat right. >:/


When I get home from work all I want to do is get on my laptop and find vendors (and serf PW, of course). My Wedding Dress shopping begins this month and I don't feel confident in my own skin. I'm afraid no matter how beautiful the dress is and how wonderful it looks on me because I am not comfortable with...me that I wont like the dress.


 


:::sigh::: I hope it all works out for me and I stop slacking soon!

I'm in! I have such a hard time keeping up my motivation. I was doing really good before the summer with my hot yoga classes and running, but I haven't worked out in over a month. AHH!


I'm actually considering getting a personal trainer until the wedding so that I'm forced to work out. :/

Mrs.Pristouris we are on the same boat. I was super motivated over the summer ... but now? Not so much.


Personal training is a great idea! In the meantime, lets try to do something physical over the weekend and check in on Monday!

I didn't do any exercise this weekend. :( We went to Atlantic City so yea....


I did walk around/dance a ton. My feet are killing me today. That kind of counts right?! I wasn't just sitting on my butt!

Me neither :-/ but I walked a ton as well and yes that counts; its dancing/walking is great cardio! Burning cals any way we can :) Tomorrow is another day; 30mins of some kinda exercise...we can do it!!

I got my period today and feel like total crap. I was going to go for a run but the rain/snow here and my cramps aren't motivating me too much.


I'm going to pop in a yoga/pilates DVD that I have and do that.

I am in bed as I type but you've inspired me to get off my butt and work out (Im not in a good mood), thanks!


I am going to the living room right now and doing an hour of yoga. After I'm done I'll come blog my success story :)


Gym sounds good plan! I dread going too but I know you'll have a great workout.

Yoga always calms me down when I'm in a bad mood. Hate those days...


I'm going to the gym tonight with my best friend. We're forcing each other to go since we both want to look good for the wedding (hehe). I'm going to ask them about personal training while I'm there.

30 minutes on the elliptical


Weights for arms


Ab workouts


and then 15 minutes on the elliptical

Awesome goal tonight!


Yes, I want my biceps and triceps looking great in my wedding dresses. Then, there's the HM, bikinis all the way :0)


 


I think I'll do some strength training later tonight. I'll blog afterwards.
