FLOATING CANDLES TEST results

SO!

I did a test today

a floating candle from:

http://www.quickcandles.com/:  this one burned for about 7.5 hours but then it flooded and that's what caused it to stop burning. (last time I lit another one and it flooded after about 3 hours!!) the problem with these candles is the way the wax melts and unbalances the candle and it floods

and

http://www.flowersandsupplies.com/- burned for 8 hours and it did not flood it melted all evenly creating a bowl which allowed it to float evenly. :) this wax floats better?!

hope this helps you if you're using floating candles.

I ordered the 3" ones from quickcandels and they only last about 3 hours. I emailed them and explained my situation, trying to see if maybe I did someone wrong.

I then sold the remaining ones on craigslist since I needed mine to last atleast 6 hours. 2 days later quickcandles emailed me back apologising and said they sent me a replacement order in the mail and stated that sometimes there is a "bad batch".

I am just thankful I did a test run. Plus I got my candles for free since I sold the first set :)
