flower girl dress

Should the flower girl dress have to be the same style as the brides gown?  My daughter is getting married and her gown is ivory.  The flower girl dress is also ivory.  But different in style.

I personally dislike the whole FG being a miniature version of the bride! I want me to be me and the FG to be a FG. I want her to be cute in ways that I can't do if because I should be sophisticated right? So it's ok for her to wear yards and yards of tulle. Lol

I whole heartedly agree with KittyWolf's statement.

I plan on wearing ivory and putting my two youngest girls in a light pink ;)

It is totally up to you! My flower girls had on ivory to match the color scheme of my wedding, but their actual dresses did not match mine.

no.it depends on your style.if you like consistence, just do that.to make the wedding party more colorful, you can pick your FG dresses to be one bright cocor, such as red or related your wedding theme color.maybe it will be more perfect.
