flower girl pomanders

Hello everyone. Im getting married October 6th of this year and its coming up super quick! I will most likely be spending a lot of time on here until the wedding lol.

Anyways. I want pomanders for my flower girls. Its just easier. Since we are getting married in a las vegas chapel, they wont let us bring in our own flowers. So I asked them if I made my own pomanders, as long as they werent real flowers, would it be ok. They said yes. So I guess my question is:

What if I did tissue pomanders for the girls instead of fake flowers? Would that look bad? I just cant picture it at the moment. Is it cheaper to make my own if I were to do fake flowers, or is it best to just order them?

Pictures would be appreciated if anyone has chosen to use tissue pomanders. Thanks so much in advance!

Cheers everyone!

Well I'm personally not doing these but they are very cute. They'd be easy to make and if you use coupons you can get everything you need pretty cheap. Hobby Lobby has their flowers 50% off a lot and if you get the Joann ad in the mail there are always coupons in it plus sales.

The tissue pomanders could be cute as well but they don't travel well and they can get crushed easily.

I do definately agree with that. I figured they might be easy if I used the hydrangeas or something bigger like that. Im just really trying to save as much money as possible.
