FLOWER POWER!

I'm looking for suggestions as to what flowers to use for our centerpieces.  Here is what I plan to replicate (;

I m looking for photo 3452533-1

What kind of silk flowers would work best?  I know this is silly but how many do you think I would need?  We are having ten tables that I need to dress (:

Pretty! But oooh boy I'm thinking a lot of flowers will be neede for that centerpiece....a good florist would know better but I'm remembering that it always takes way more than you would think.

I would look at www.wedideas.com, they do very realistic looking fake flowers (get the natural touch, the others are not so nice looking/feeling) and they are way cheaper than real flowers or  buying from Hobby Lobby etc. My bouquet was from there if you need an example! I've also heard that Sam's or Costco does cheaper flowers.

I'm not sure but it looks like open roses, it would take quite a few maybe 50? Have you thought about talking to a florist just to get an ideal of what you might need to make the centerpieces?

You can try carnations, they make it look fuller. Beautiful idea!

Your going to need a lot of silk flowers for that arrangement and that my be expensive if you want the exact look as your inspiration. Do you have a budget? On that arrangement, It looks like they used way over 50 to complete it.

No I don't really have a budget and no it doesn't have to be exact.  Just looking for any and all opinions.  Would a florist even tell me the amount of flowers I would need?  I just fell in love with the concept & it just fits everything perfectly!

I don't think anyone noticed that you said you were using silk flowers. Are you making the arrangements yourself?

Okay. I will do some looking into this for you and get back to you. Do you want about the same size arrangements and are you partial to any flower?

They can be that size or smaller.  Habibi doesn't want anything to obstruct people's view so I might actually make them smalller.....I do love calla lilies but visually it won't work so I'm open to suggestions (;
