flowers for moms/special female guests? Need advice

Hi ladies,

What are you doing as far as flowers for your mothers/FMILs? Are you doing wrist corsages or flowers that you pin on? I have no idea which one to do. Thanks!

I got nosegays-  so much... easier and it would be what i would prefer rather than a corsage or wrist corsage  HTH

A nosegay is hand-held right? I wanted to do something that was easily identifiable to guests so they'd know, "This is a special guest" and one in which they wouldn't have to carry around. I know I'd get kind of tired of that after a while. Thanks!

Neither of mine wanted anything.  We may get pin on corsages for the Grandmas.

my FMIL will act she doesn't want anything (b/c she's onery) - but I'm doing a pin-on corsage for her wheather she likes it or (says) not.  She tries to act all tough and unwantful, but I know deep down inside she likes to be specially pampered!  :)

We're doing the nosegays...they can hold them during the ceremony but will be able to set them down at the reception.  And that way, their pretty dresses aren't hidden by a pin on corsage...I'm not a fan of them.  And wrist corsages made me think of prom...

depending on what they wear on the day of we're going be either getting them a corsage or a wristlet. My florist suggested if they wear a soft frabric (ie silk) then we should get them a wristlet and if not then a corsage will work... We're also presenting the parents w/ leis during the ceremony so that's another option...

We're doing corsages for our moms...  Not sure if they will be the wrist ones yet.

We did pin corsages for our mothers, grandmothers and great-grandmother. They're all very traditional, and didn't like the idea of the wrist corsage or nosegays. Like beatie, they think of prom when they think of corsages, and they thought the nosegays are more for bridesmaids than the MOB/MOG. So pin corsages it was!
