FS: Barbra Allin Wedding Dress, and HELLO!!

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum (actually I've been on here for months just reading and getting great advice from everyone!).

Well, a little about me and my dilemma. I moved from Australia last year with to be with my fiance who works in the states, and we were living in St. Louis. I needed a wedding dress so I went shopping - and no, the range wasn't great there so I ended up buying this dress... fast forward 4 months later and we've moved to the OC for work. This was only 3 weeks ago, and I had so many doubts about this dress that I went and bought another one! (VERY INDECISIVE BRIDE HERE)...

Anyways, so here I am 1 week before we leave for our Thailand destination wedding, and I thought I'd post this dress for sale, along with a 'hello and thank you' to everyone out who's made my planning a lot easier (have no family/friends out here as yet so it kinda has felt you guys are my bridesmaids!)

Ok - so here is the blurb for the dress. It's very beautiful I must say, but I decided I really didn't want all the beading it has, and chose an Enzoani dress (Belize) instead which has FAR less beading...

"This is a new ivory Barbra Allin (Canadian designer) silk wedding gown with gorgeous beading throughout.

I bought this dress as a very new sample from a bridal store in St Louis, but 3 weeks before the wedding I decided that I wanted a little less 'Bling'. So I went and bought another dress and now need to sell this one. The dress has been altered to fit me (size 4-6) and I actually got alterations to take it in more on the hips, so that it gives a more trumpet feel. It has been altered at the bust, waist, hem and hips. Comes with a fabulous 15 point bustle which is assymetrical in the back to match the dress. Train is gorgeous too!

The dress is a medium-heavy ivory silk and the bead work consists of embroidery, beading and pearls. The design of the dress is much like a design from Angolique, but is much much nicer in terms of workmanship beading and material.

Only spot cleaned as I was going to wear it - but since I have another dress, this is a bargain! The dress apparently retailed for $4000, but I got it for $2500 (not including tax) and $300 for alterations.

Price = $1800

Email me for more information or pics. Thanks!

All sales are final and cash/paypal only."

So there it is! Sorry for the long post!

Cheers, Mimi
