My friend had surgery and was released today. I wanted to send her some flowers and I just happened to see this beautiful arrangement on FTD. I've never ordered from the before. I placed my order and yesterday I got two emails confirming that my orders would ship today. Checked my bank account and sure enough I had been charged twice so $170 from my account. I called them and explained the mistake and the guy said he would cancel the order no problem. So he cancels the order and I get the confirmation email. So this afternoon I check to see if my order was delivered and the online status shows that it hasn't. I call Fedex and they basically say that it hasn't been delivered and I have to call FTD. Well I call FTD and come to find out they have this "extremely rare" situation of my order not being scanned into the system. This so it was never picked up for delivery. Apparently this has only happened once or twice before in the whole history of FTD, according to the customer service rep.
So then my options are get a refund or have it delivered tomorrow. I'm so steaming mad because I wanted the recepiant to get it today and that's what I paid for. They don't offer to do anything such as discount on the order, add something to my order etc.. They basially say we'll refund you or you can have it shipped tomorrow.
So I told her I was taking my business to 1-800-flowers and they could refund me. The funniest thing is that in my cancellation email they have the nerve to say all future orders will be handled with the greatest of care. HA!! Do you really think you're getting another order from me?
