Who wants to be a part of our longest PW thread? Let's keep this thread going and see how long we can make it. Who's in????
Hi guys. I have been a member for a while but just recently became more active due to planning my wedding. Just wanted to say HI!!!!!!!!!!!
Im in....hi guys!
Ok...a random question. Although I am a mom of 3...my 3 and 1/2 month old seems to be throwing me off with how advanced she is. She is already teething, sitting up, as well as attempting to scoot on her belly. I started my boys on cereal(in a bowl) at 4 months, she will be 4 months on the 25th but is already acting as if she is ready. She cries when we eat in front of her, reaches for our food, and snatched it if its in her reach. Do you guys think its too early to try a few spoonfuls of rice ceareal with some applesauce?
Any mamas wanna chime in?
Happy Monday ladies, let's get through this week so we can enjoy another weekend!!! :D It was so hot over the weekend but luckily DH and I enjoyed some time at the pool! Can't wait to do it again!
Cheers to Monday and it was very hot here too Elise.
I posted a wee bit of a recap if anyone is interested!
Also have any of you ever been to a Cirque Du Soleil show? Is there any type of dress code? How long normally is a show? I'm going to my first one at the end of the month (:
No dress code really Zachia, but they are super fun!!! I'm excited for you, I LOVE cirque du soleil!
After spending 4 nights and 5 days with my FI I am more excited than ever to start living with him in December. We sat down and did a budget starting July 2013- April 2016 (our one year anniversary). If we stick to our budget and savings starting in July we will save enough to pay for our wedding which I have down to 13,540 (below budget), our honeymoon $6500, our rings $1800, Christmas's, birthdays, and our anniversary trip $6500 PLUS still have a savings of $25,000.
This is of course sticking to our budget and savings plan from July 2013-April 2016. I am getting more and more excited after seeing how much we can actually save each month and still have everything we need and want paid for. We will then look into land and building our own home.
Wow, way to plan Kim! That's awesome!
Fearce - I have never seen a Cirque du Soleil show but I really, really want to! I am hoping to check one out in Chicago at some point, that is about the closest to us they would come.
Kim, you and my DH would get along great, he LOVES budgeting lol. He has us on a 5 year plan. In 5 years he thinks we can have our house paid off! Isn't it an awesome feeling finding small spots to save and paying things off!?
I've been to a few Cirque shows, LOVE them! Which are you seeing? Pretty sure I wore jeans and a nice top. It's a circus and literally in a tent, so casual is fine. I even went to a free show in Quebec that they do in the streets. Amazing! I do think I dressed up more when I went in Vegas, but we had a business dinner followed by the show with clients.
Any one up to anything exciting this week?
Great planning Kim!!!
Fearce - I think I am just as excited for you that you are going to see the show!! They are supposed to put on one amazing show!!! I'm not much help, though, with the dress code to go see a show.
Feeling a little down tonight. My FI is always so upbeat and positive. I have never known him to have a bad day. I'm sure he does but he never lets me see it. This evening he called me and he was yelling at his dog for barking at the cats which he never does.
He then apologized to me because he felt like he had been short with me and just not himself. I didn't feel he had been short with me at all. He was as sweet as he always is but I could tell he wasnt himself. We got off the phone for ahile and he sent me a text.
It made me cry because he again apologized and said how upset and embarassed he was and this would never happen again. I just responded that I will be here and it's ok. I have had to refrain from calling him even though its all I want to do. Whatever he is dealing with I want him to have his space and call me when he's ready.
Sorry just needed to tell someone
Circque de soleil is literally one of my favorite things. I've only seen one show, but just the sheer capacity of what they can do is so amazing.
@Kim, that's the joy of being with someone forever -seeing the good and bad days. Unfortunately the bad days aren't as fun :( But PW can be a great place to vent if you need to.
Happy Friday ladies!
DH and I are going to see a movie after work tonight. We both get off a little late, so I'm meeting him at his work because there's a theater right next door!
Good morning ladies!!!
YAY Nikki!!!!! If I was closer, I would SO be there!!!!
