Just sitting down after having a run-in with one of our dumb groundhogs - I ended up taking a piece of wood and slamming it down on our deck to scare him, and yep - I lost.  Hurt my wrist in the process.  Now it's time to PW, have dinner and relax.

Can you believe that snow over in CO and MN? That is crazy!

Made a new receipe last night in my Ninja cooker-that I love.  It was a healthier version of lasagna.

Did you know that lasagna can be made in the dishwasher?  I know gross right?

All you have to do is put the ingredients together in a dish (either boils noodles or use the no boil noodles), cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil, then use the heated dry and sanitize cycle on your dishwasher to cook the lasagna.

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

...Who on earth was the first person who decided to try cooking something in the dishwasher?? "Oh, the oven broke, think I'l try this!" LOL!

My mom just texted me to say she is lodging a formal complaint against Mother Nature, because it was 80 in north Iowa yesterday and now she has 7 inches of wet snow and no power! Craziness!

Sam - how is your weather?  I heard them talking about Iowa getting snow and I could not believe that.  Sending warm weather wishes to your mom!!

Fact: Minnesota has 99 lakes named Mud Lake.

I cooked a salmon in my ex-bosses dishwasher once! He had a party but didn't have any space to cook it - it turned out amazing. I've never done it since though.

I'll give you a weather/Canadian fact : In 1962, Pincher Creek, Alberta experienced the fastest, biggest temperature change ever recorded in Canada as a result of a Chinook (a warm, dry wind that comes off the Rocky Mountains). The temperature rose from -19C to 22C in just one hour!

My morning ritual is usually grabbing my baby, running out of the house, speeding like crazy while putting makeup on, dropping off my baby at daycare, then running into work with 1 minute or less to spare....I could use the peaceful moments. LOL!

Here's a fact. The elephant is the only animal with 4 knees.

Okay, this made my mouth drop.

The largest number of children born to one woman is recorded at 69. From
1725-1765, a Russian peasant woman gave birth to 16 sets of twins, 7 sets of
triplets, and 4 sets of quadruplets.

Ouuuuch!

At the moment of birth, a baby’s heart beats at 180 pulses per minute. Within a few hours, the rate falls to 140 pulses. At 1 year old, the infant heart rate is 115 beats per minute. An adult’s average resting level is 70-80 beats a minute.

Ok, I've got one. Don't how true this is, but one of my professors in college told us this party trick. If you stand on your head long enough, your brain will flip images so you actually see upright again! (If you can stand all that blood rushing to your head though! That's why I'm not sure of the validity or how long it takes for that to happen..lol)

Yay for Friday!!!  I plan on taking at least 8 hours and just spend that time crafting.  I am also going to start packing for our mini weekend getaway on the 17th. If I do a little bit this weekend, then I won't forget anything that I need.  LOL
