Name: Julia

Where are you from: League City, Tx (outside of Houston)

EDD: April 25, 2012...but I think i'm measuring ahead so we'll see at our next u/s appointment on Sept 12th!

Child #: First

What are you most excited about?: I'm excited about so many things!  I'm excited about being a mom and seeing a little being that DH and I made and i'm so curious 1) if it's a boy or a girl...and 2) what he/she is going to look like!  It's such an awesome surprise!

What are you most nervous about?: I'm nervous about getting through this pregnancy...through the first trimester and then feeling somewhat better in the 2nd trimester...I don't want me feeling bad to deter us from having a second child.  I'm also nervous about how my work schedule will be next year when I go back to work.  DH and I work at the same high school and he's the head athletic trainer so his hours are worse than mine...so it'll be interesting!

Do you work or stay at home: I work, I'm a high school dance teacher and assistant director.  I work long hours and weekends and get July off!  I wish I worked less hours or was able to stay at home...unfortunately that will never happen. :/

If you have children what's your best advice for us first timers!: I would love to hear this!  Julie...any advice! ;)

Where are you from: Warsaw, IN

EDD: April 27th DH's bday is April 29, so this could be interesting

Child #: 4! Yes, I'm insane :p

What are you most excited about?: Having a little baby again! I miss it

What are you most nervous about?: How my youngest will react to being a big brother. Very, very nervous about this

Do you work or stay at home: Staying at home for now

If you have children what's your best advice for us first timers!: Since I was asked directly, I better say something wise. lol I don't even know where to start though. Enjoy every moment would be the biggest one thing I can think of. You can't imagine how quickly things change with a LO. There are going to be some pretty horrid days ahead, I can't lie. Both with pregnancy and being responsible for another human being. However, there will also be so many amazing days that you'll realize that the bad ones really don't even matter.

Always feel free to ask me if anyone has any specific questions. I've likely been there and done that. I have 2 girls, 16 & 3, and a 3 year old boy.

Name: Pamel (Hi everybody!)

Where are you from: Texas!!

EDD: March 12, 2012

Child #: #2

What are you most excited about?: Seeing DS be a big brother.

What are you most nervous about?: Taking my time away from DS. Makes me sad...   :(

Do you work or stay at home: Work full time. For my first baby, I stayed at home with him (only doing a few shifts here and there) for a year. This one will probably only have me for 3 months.  :(

If you have children what's your best advice for us first timers!: ENJOY THEIR BABYNESS!! It changes and they grow sooooooo fast! Capture as much as you can on video/film. One day they're doing one thing, the next day they don't do that anymore. DS went from 0-almost 2 in the blink of an eye.
Also, listen to your instincts. Nobody will know your baby or how to raise them better than you!
Take help. Don't try to be super woman and do it all. Sleep when you can because the infant days are lonnnngggggg (but short so enjoy them!).  ;)
Talk to your child from day 1. You'll be amazed at what they remember and how fast their vocabulary grows.
IT'S OKAY for your LO to watch TV! (I HATE when people say it's not good). It is, it allows you to get some work done. Don't feel bad about it.

But first and foremost, enjoy your pregnancy. This also goes by fast and the first time is the ONLY time you'll get sooooooo super spoiled. :)

I LOVE the tv comment. If I didn't let my kids watch tv, I would be living in absolute filth all of the time. My 3 year old also loves to play the Wii. It's amazing how much it has helped his motor skills.
