Gift and Honeymoon Registry?

Is it ok to have both a gift registry and a honeymoon registry? We registred at Bed Bath & Beyond and the woman told us to have over 300 gifts for our 150 person wedding. We are barely making it to 200 gifts that we need/want. Would it be sounding too greedy if we also had a honeymoon registry? If not, how should it be worded on the bridal shower invitations?

We did the same. I remember BB&B telling us that...and it sounded like SO many gifts! But we did both, and it turned out really well :) You should totally do it!

As for wording...do you guys have a wedding website? Usually there's a place for registry information, just put links to your BB&B registry as well as your HM registry

Thanks for the help! I actually decided to go with www.simpleregistry.com so that we can add the items that we couldn't have on our normal registry as well as add our honeymoon! Its a very helpful tool, and its free! :)

Not at all! Honestly, I had BB+B registry and a honeymoon registry too :) We had a few hits on the honeymoon registry, it's such a new idea. And for the BB+Bregistry, most of the guests got us items from there for the bridal shower. For the wedding, we recieved mostly cash so the registry was irrevelant then. Some people want ot give you a physical gift, so the BB+B registry is perfect. Also, we "under-registered" at BB+B and there are STILL items not purchased on it to this day, a year later. :)

i think it is fine too.  almost every wedding i have been to was registered at 2 places.  bb&b and target.  your second one just happens to be toward your honeymoon.

I think that's fine! I think it would be different if you registered a bunch of stores AND then did the honeymoon registry - but most people have at least 2 and one of yours is for the honeymoon. Perfect! I also think the mix is good because the idea of a honeymoon registry is still pretty generational, older people are going to more than likely give actual gifts :)
