Going on month 2 of no cycle

I'm going on month 2 of no cycle again and have no clue why. I'm on metformin 1000mg a day is it possible I'm not getting enough and need to up it? I'm having a tough time switching obgyn with my insurance and know I can't rely on my current gyno. Any suggestions ladies? Did this happen to you?

hurleygrl - You may be on too low of a dose for your PCOS - I am on 2,000 mg and this month I started on CD 35 (still longer than it prob should be but sooo much better!)  My RE was telling me that it can take months for the Met to get into your system and unforunately it is not a quick fix :(

I know you are having a hard time with your gyno but I would see if you could talk to the nurse about bumping it up to atleast 2,000 mg.  I believe you can go as high as 2,500.  Even though I haven't been on it that long, each month my cycles have been getting shorter - so eventually I will get where they need to be.
